March Update 2

We are approaching for the final script of the film. This week, my co-writer, Usef Fahmy and I will be meeting tomorrow along with Renzo Wee for a brief proof reading. Once it's done, we will be consulting once again with our Story Consultant, Kiko Miranda.

We will have a story reading soon. This will be done with the story group but I might invite the other crew members if they want to.

Once it's done, we will proceed with location scouting and the initial storyboard. Also, Ruffy shown me some of his works so far for the props.

I was also asked if we can do a full scale or 3/4 scale of the "Vaporiser". He said he can do it but our Executive Producer, Glenn, has a concern about the props and the transportation itself which I also agree.

I don't really need a full scale nor a full set. In order to balance the budget and the props, have the set in parts and the rest will be in post-production. This will also give me references of the light and the texture of the set.

Also, I will be doing 360 images of the props for our Props and Costume team once the script is done.

More updates to come!

March 2017 update 1

Earlier this month, I finally met the team last March 4 except the physical trainers weren't able to join us cause their motor. I was able to discuss with them about the the history of Star Wars, initial plans, and the vision of the film. It went well actually. We will have our next meeting soon to show the final script.

Speaking of script, I'm currently writing the 3rd draft, revision 2 of the screenplay. These past few weeks, I've been working closely with Kiko Miranda, our story consultant. As side I was able to consult him the story, he also taught me about being a storyteller, the way to write the script, and the style of writing that I'll be doing. I was told to follow the "Hero's Journey" formula by Joseph Campbell which apparently wide used different films like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Avatar, Star Wars, etc.

A little input, Kiko already watched Star Wars Episode IV. He loved it. He hasn't watch V, VI, and VII yet because he was busy and I was fixing his MacBook.

Last Saturday night, we had a script reading at Kiko's place with Kim, Chelsea, and Aemjay. There were minor revisions on the script but it isn't as major as before. Renzo went also to join and introduced me to his friend which he's a Star Wars nerd like me. He helped me pitch some ideas that can be useful for the revision. We had a very very long talked with Renzo about Star Wars and it really went well.

This is so far the update that happen this week, there will be to come soon.
